FAIRFIELD HALLS GRAPHICS & SIGNAGE PROJECT
In the summer of 2018 Invicta Graphics was approached by the newly appointed Venue and Artistic Director to install graphics and signage into the Fairfield Halls a cultural and entertainment venue which had been the subject of a multi-million pound refurbishment project funded by Croydon Council.
Previously the company had worked very successfully with the Director at The Woodville Theatre in Gravesend and The New Wimbledon Theatre. He had been particularly impressed by the sign system at the South Bank Centre complex in London. A worldwide patent on the system stopped anything being remotely similar.
Invicta Graphics approached a local interior designer who devised a sign system which was colour co-ordinated to incorporate ‘Wayfinding’ for 2 main lift blocks, 3 staircase flights, 3 performance venues as well as a dance studio, 2 restaurants and a cafeteria.
The client was extremely impressed by the system devised by Bernard Woods Interiors.
The graphics work commenced in sufficient time for some elements to be completed in time for a royal visit by Prince Edward Earl of Wessex.
Invicta Graphics was responsible for supplying Neon Signs illuminated bar sign “Fairfield” the signage system window manifestations numerous large wall graphics flat cut vinyl lettering and a number of wall and door graphics of Fairfield’s historic top line performers.
Invicta Graphics was also instrumental in introducing a recently perfected resin-coated finish to the administration counter at the Stage Door Entrance.
